Let's Get Started!!!

Are you ready to get started? I am. I have picked a book for us to read through and discuss together. It is Captivating: unveiling the mystery of a woman's soul by John and Stasi Eldredge.  Here is a snippet from the back of the book: The message of Captivating is this: Your heart matters more than anything else in all creation. The desires you had as a little girl and the longings you still feel as a woman-they are telling you of the life God created you to live. He offers to come now as the Hero of your story, to rescue your heart and release you to live as a fully alive and feminine woman. A  woman who is truly captivating.


Does that sound good to you? It does to me. Let's find out who God created us to be as girls, women, who He says that we are and what that tells us about Him. Go pick up a copy and start reading. We'll discuss chapter one on Sunday November 7th. I will post the time here soon. Let me know if you can't get your own copy and I will pick up an extra.

Times, they are changing.....

It is a new season and new things are happening! I am starting a new study with a new bunch of girls. I am going to redo the blog, change the name and all of the other stuff. You all are welcome to read along and join us in our discussions online. I hope that you all are doing well. I miss seeing your faces in the hallways and at girls group.
